yum install issues

Hello,

I am new to Linux and I am having an issue with Fedora 15 yum install. I am trying to install dhcp on a fresh install and I get: Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: fedora. Please verify path and try again.
I have tried yum clean all and yum update but still get the same result. Is something missing? Please help.

Hi and welcome to LinuxQuestions!

It looks like yum cannot connect for some reason. Maybe are you behind a proxy? Can you ping an external site like google.com?
