YUM gives Nothing to do error

I did a minimal install of Centos 7 into VirtualBox. I set had 2 network adapters, one is Bridged and one is for internal network. Once the installation was complete, I logged in and use yum to update the system. It updates without a problem. I then wanted to change my Bridged adapter to a static ip and restart the network.service. I can ping outside fine, but when I try to do "yum update" it says nothing is marked for update. I tried to install bind9( or anything else) it says "Error: Nothing to do". I tried this over and over again. YUM is broke after I changed the Bridged Adapter to static IP. Can anyone help me understand this? Thanks

Actually I just found out that it broke right after I update and reboot. Once I log in again I can't update or install anything using yum

Can you ping 8.8.8.8?
Can you ping google.com?
What is the actual output of a yum install?
