Yum confusing message
 

Hi All,

I regularly use yum to ensure my web server is up to date, but just recently it has started displaying a message saying I should run 'yum-complete-transaction'. Unfortunately this does not exists. I am running Fedora 8. Any suggestions?

Can you please post the commands you ran and the exact error message.

the command i run is 'yum update'. I can't post the exact message atm, as it only appears when there are new updates. as soon as it happens again will post the exact message
