yum conflicts

Whenever i activate my repo of atrpms i always get confilcits in the programs. This is the error i keep getting.

Transaction Check Error: file /etc/yum.conf from install of atrpms-package-config-92-1.rhfc3.at conflicts with file from package yum-2.2.0-0.fc3

is there anyway to tell it to force or ignore ? i know that apt-get i can use --reinstall and it works but can't seem to find anything like that for yum.

i'm running Fedora Core 3 x86_64

Thanks

Atrpms and nrpms are notoriuos for overwriting certain files provided by other packages. Its not a very good thing to simply force installation, because this may cause you problems later on, particularly with a system package such as yum. I would simply ignore that package and not upgrade it.

How about not using atrpms and using dag and freshrpms. I have never had such conflicts using those two repositories in conjunction with the extras at fedoraproject.org.

I am not sure, maybe you can broswe their repositories by visiting their websites.
