youtube downloader
 

Dear friends,

Is there any utility in Linux by which we can download clippings/songs etc. from www.youtube.com. I will be thankful if anyone can advise me about this.

I haven't tried it on Linux, but the addon site only gives firefox as a dependency, not a specific OS, so could be worth a try.

Video downloader is ok, but also search for another plug-in (downloadhelper) - much, much better !
