Yast detects my winmodem/Directory cleanup?
 

It not mission critical or anything, but I was wondering; it looks like Yast actually detected my winmodem. I noticed this a while ago but didn't really think anything of it, but I was reading some documentation earlier today and saw that there were winmodem drivers on the retail version of the Suse 9.0 disks.

I tried it out again and I still can't connect to my modem, but I figured I'd ask here to see if anyone had any ideas of some thing's I could try to see if I could get it working.

I really want to kill my small XP partition (I feel dirty booting windows, seriously) but I don't want to get rid of it because I need my modem when I travel *ya know*. So it would be awesome if I could get it working.

Oh, I also was wondering if there was a tool or terminal command out there that would cleanup temp and update files and packages (things of that sort)? Like the Disk Cleanup in Windows?

yeah right disk cleanup like what do you not need that is being collected on your drive ?

Yeah lol, because I didn't check the remove update package box for a few of the packages and I don't know what they're called to search for and delete them; and from what the docum. say's their not needed after installation.

I'm not sure if it's a HSP or DSP, I do know that people have gotten this modem to work with different distros but from what I've read it's difficult.
