Yahoo for Linux

Greetings List!

I would like to know if you can use the Linux OS to be abe able to go to Yahoo groups or go to ebay, I would like to know if this is possible, I have had Linux Mandrake a long time ago it saved my computer from crashing, and it was very easy install, I will say this it was much easier than trying to reinstall windows on my computer.

I want to do away with windows all together and I still want to be able to go to my yahoo groups and as well as bid on Ebay from time to time. I also hear there is a rumor going around that there may be AOL for Linux as well.

So basically what I am asking is well I be able to do those same things on the internet once I change over?

Thanks,
Raven

Yes, you can do any internet related stuff using mozilla, which comes with all the major linux installs. You can also download the netscape 7 or higher version for linux for free.

yep or Opera/Konqueror/etc etc there's no shortage of browsers for Linux.

Bear in mind if any site uses activeX you'll be stranded with Linux though (and rightly so activeX is an abomination)

Thank you both for the information, in programming activeX sucks.
