I was under the impression that you can NOT use yahoo mail (not the paid version) to use clients. I am unaware of workarounds, if any.

You have to have a paid yahoo account in order to use a email client to read yahoo emails. An email manager client like Mutt, Thunderbird, evolution, claws, etc.
What you can do however is set up your yahoo inbox so when you get a email there the inbox will forward it to gmail. then you can receive read it and reply it on your terminal. Good luck to you. |

Read the man page, it will EXPLAIN the lines to you: http://linux.die.net/man/5/ssmtp.conf ....check Google, you'll find EXAMPLES: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/sec...d-securely/440 ...maybe look up the settings needed for Yahoo mail?? (scroll down to LINUX settings): http://www.howto-do.org/pc-linux-and...-android-3718/ You post the same question twice, which is against LQ rules, then you come back in a little over an hour, and complain because no one has answered you? To use what you posted "I see you can't read the LQ rules...." |
