Xubuntu Question 7.10??
 
I have been reading that Xubuntu is great for older PC's,this seems to be the sales pitch overall...Would the designers not thought of these driver issues surrounding graphics,and fixed that in Xubuntu?
Would it be good for my requirements,just web surfing,online school,and music?

Xubuntu is exactly the same as Ubuntu underneath, just a different GUI. If it doesn't work in Ubuntu, it doesn't work in Xubuntu.

It would help if you didn't make a new thread for each new thought and question, makes it hard to follow.

And i am asking a seperete question...I am wondering if Xbuntu is any different than Ubuntu..
I threw in mention to my issue as i wondered if something like XU might be the solution.
Is this forum not about learning,asking questions?.
I apologise and will try to be more aware..I can see your point i guess as so many questions pop up here.
Well i can honestly say everyone has been great help thus far, although i still haven't solved my problems.
