I'm running Xubuntu 7.04, and its in the repositories. Only thing other than default repos I have, is the Wine repo, and

http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu feisty-commercial

Not sure where hte above came from, or what repo its in(how would I check that?)

Anyways, I was looking at skype.com, and it seems they have the .deb file available for download. So it should be easy...

I have this working on Kubuntu Edgy 6.10, with a Tevion (cheap Aldi phone) USBphone, a friend helped me with this, you set Kmix settings for the phone sounds but have ringing set to the sound card in your computer. Kmix Input Output. Did not need drivers as it is a USB phone that was recognised without problems. Used .deb from Skype site with no problems. I haven't setup speed dial settings yet so don't know if these work on the phone/Skype interface. [Skype to phone requires entering +6107 phone number for Australia].

Cheers
