Xubuntu - Editing the menu and indicator applet

Hey everyone,

So basically, I have absolutely no need for a mail nor IM client, so I have uninstalled Thunderbird and Pidgin, however I still have the letter thingy with the other indicators in my panel, and I still have an entry for a Mail Reader in my menu. How can I remove them?

Cheers

I have decided to remove the indicator applet, I don't need it, but I would still like to remove the Mail Reader entry in the menu.
