Xubuntu 9.10 will not connect to 64bit WEP

Hello, First off I'm new to linux..... Ive decided to become anti windows at the age of 16, but here is my question:

My home uses a 64bit key in WEP security, the network tools on xubuntu do not support 64 bit please respond with any information that will be helpful....

which network tools are you using? have you tried any others?
