xubuntu 11.10 multi-monitor support?

i remember installing a program that was amazing for multiple monitor support last time i installed. It was as easy as moving one monitor to a different square and that's where it was, that simple.

Problem is my system died, i just reinstalled but i have no recollection of what the software was. I remember the last time i tried to set up dual monitors with linux it took me 3 days to find something that worked. problem is i gotta get up and running as soon as possible. I have to finish a project in 2 days, and this has been a bit of a set back.

Anyway having dual monitors is very nice to have while coding and i'd apreciate it if someone could idiot proof this for me, a link or a program or something.

So system is xubuntu 11.10 i'm using a laptop but i have the second monitor hooked up to it. Not sure what else you guys might need to know, i just reinstalled so it's pretty bare bones at this point.

The output of
Code:
