xterm default home directory
 
I'm running Slackware 10.0 and am definately a newbie. Last night I wanted to install FireFox. I was in XCFE, I brought up an xterm window and installed FireFox successfully. Now when I bring up xterm, it comes up in the ~/firefox-installer directory.

How can I get my default directory in xterm set up to be my home directory?

Open up xterm and cd
when you open it up again you will be in /home/yourname
