XSession-erros

Hi everyone,
When I double-click a (console) executable file in nautilus, instead of opening a new terminal window, the program runs silently in the background. Eventually, my computer's hard drive fills up and the computer crashes. What I believe is happening is that linux is sending my program nulls for standard input and then writing standard output to my XSession-errors file. Since the program loops until it receives valid input, linux keeps writing the prompt out to the xsession-errors file forever until it crashes. What can I do to stop this problem? This seems like a bug in nautilus. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

You should check nautilus configuration to see what it is doing when you double click an specific file. It should has some kind of file type manager as KDE. there you'll be able to tell it what to do with your term files
