XServer Installation - Debian
Hi there,
Can anyone guide me on installing XServer. I install bare minimum Debian today, but just got completed confused as to what packages to download for XServer. I used apt-get and downloaded several like Xserver-free86 base, XFS, Xserver-Client. However, still couldnt get it to work, kept receiving a message: Unable to find font 'fixed'. Is there a guide around as to what apt packages to download and install? Thanks |

ok,
but im unaware exactly what packages a basic Xserver requires. I downloaded the fonts server and am now receiving another error message: could not init font path element unix/7100, removing from list! Anyone know what this mean? |
