xsane


How do u install this, i basically want to get my scanner to work with a nice user interface, any ideas. I am using a epson stylus cx3200

You will need to install xsane, sane, and a sane “driver” backend for your scanner.

See your distro's install disks or update site, and/or visit http://www.sane-project.org/

After they're installed, it should just be a matter of running xsane and letting it autodetect your scanner.
