xRDP to Fedora 20 box, can't run Yumex or Update?
When accessing the VM from the VSphere console (same as if it was a real linux box) I can use Yumex,

Apper does not work logged in directly via vSphere console it just sits on Waiting for Authentication.. ?

But for daily use from my work desktop I use xRDP that I have installed and connect with the Windows RDP client so that I can have access to my Fedora 20 desktop (login as an admin account who is a member of the wheel group, the account that is created during the Fedora Install).

Yumex (never asks for any root credentials at startup) acts like it will install but gives error message:
You have failed to provide correct authentication.
Please check any passwords or account settings.

In Fedora's native app update-
Updates start and get up to the point of installing then error out with the message:

You have failed to provide correct authentication.
Please check any passwords or account settings.

btw this is my 1st post, thank you and I look forward to learning as much as possible about Linux and Fedora.
