Question XP to Linux; Remote Administration

Thanks for your help!

We have a SLES 9 server that I would like to do remote administration on using an XP Pro client. I would like to do this in a graphical environment. The server is running the SuSE provided VNC service. I've downloaded and tried a couple of Windows VNC clients. They can connect OK but the graphics is terrible! With a SuSE Linux client, using the Remote Administration Utility, the graphics are great!

- Am I missing something?

- Is there a preferred VNC client for Windows?

- Is there a better way to use a XP Pro client for remote administration of a SLES server in a graphical environment?

Thanks for your help,
Randy G

For remote administration with a graphical env I would say you should try NX
the client you can get for free of http://www.nomachine.org

The NX server from nomachine is a test version, but it will not cease working after the test period - or so I was told.

You could ofcourse use the FreeNX server available from SuSe.

The client can also connect to VNC and Windows Terminal servers
