Start it rom a console by tipping xmule
If it start that fine ..
if not you could probably track down why it is not starting up ...

LinuxDexx
Are you using an rc version (testing/not stable) of it?
Uninstall it and install the lateste version ...

(PS: i'm not tuned with the development state of xMule (so i dont know if the latest release is rc )as i use another e-donkey network client : aMule)

i did what you told me to do . . . . to start it from the console and this is what it gave me

Quote:
dark@Screener:~$ xmule xmule: Symbol `_ZTV10wxTextCtrl' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C Initialising xMule Segmentation fault
now i dont know what this means coz i'm new to linux . . . . oh and one more thing i dont know how to install and uninstall . . . . . i got this one from the apt-get install xmule ...........................and that was it ??
