xine on slackware
Hello,
I have just switched over to slackware (from andrake), and I love it! The only thing is that I was able to easily set up xine (with full encrypted DVD support) on mandrake - but it's giving me problems with slackware. I've tried doing things several different ways, but I think maybe it's a path problem. Even before I get to setting up the css stuff, it says it can't find plugins. It usually refers to an MRL thing too. Any thoughts? |
You probably want xine to work but may I suggest mplayer..
I have both xine and mplayer on my Slack machines and mplayer just totally out performs xine in every single way, plus its much easier to setup and configure. Just a thought.. |
