Angry Xine audio problems

Hey, I'm using Fedora Core 3. Everything runs perfect except for Xine. Sometimes when I am watching a movie (any filetype or dvd) there is no audio, i've tried changing the audio channels and other settings but nothing works. The problem goes away if I logout and then login again. It's not a big problem, it's just slightly annoying. I've tried to search for it but all I found was people who had no audio at all and sometimes I have none and sometimes I get it working perfect. Does anyone else have this problem? Or any ideas on how I can fix it?
