XFree86 instead of Xorg? OOn Slackware 10

Can I use XFree86 on Slackware 10 instead of Xorg?
If so how?

You could probably use the 9.1 packages. Just remove X.org packages with removepkg and install the XFree with installpkg. If I remember correctly, the switch to X.org occurred fairly late in the development of 10 so the 9.1 packages are probably compatible. Of course there is always compiling XFree86 yourself as well.
