XFCE...super green?
Hey all!
I just installed Manjaro and XFCE...but...there's no trashcan. Huh? XFCE does'nt allow any remval anymore? I tried to add it to the tool bar at the bottom, but it says that the operation is not supported, it could not connect to the thrash applet... Okay, of course I goofed up...so, can anyone help me un-goof? :) Thanks gang!! Thor |
Right click on the desktop. From the pop up menu, select Desktop Settings. Select the Icons tab. Check the box 'Trash". The trash can should appear.

Thanks...and :banghead: I did, that's the snag...
At first I thought that the coordinates of the can placed it outside the screen so I tinkered with changing resolutions, nope... I dont really recall even having seen this behaviour...kinda funny in some ecological way :) |
Solved - it took an extra install:

Takes a reboot to take effect. Behaviour : Trash applet cannot be added to a panel: "operation nog supported", deleting meand permanently delete... Marking as solved! |
