xfce stuck at 800x600 in slackware vm
I'm running slackware in a virtualbox vm on a windows 7 host, and I'm using xfce. When I run "startx" xfce starts up, but my resolution is set to 800x600. When I go into the settings to change the resolution, my only other option is 640x480...
I've added my ThinkPad's native res (1440x900) into /etc/X11/xorg.conf-vesa as well as ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml but it hasn't made any difference. I'm still stuck at 800x600 without any higher options.
I've got openSuse running KDE in a different vm, and I have no problems getting it to display at my screen's native resolution. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
