XFCE problem
I have two problems right now on my slackware machine. There both linked to XFCE I believe. I'm running Slackware -current right now on a Samsung net book.
1. Every time I boot into Slackware the XFCE Desktop settings window pops up. I have gone to every Start-up manager and looked through dozens of scripts and I cant find whats starting it every time. 2. The second one is a little harder to explain. I have a shortcut in my task bar to konsole. This konsole acts differently then the one that started through System -> konsole. For example the konsole started by the shortcut says bash-4.1$ instead of ethan@Jacob:~$. whoami says that I'm logged in correctly. I'm sure there is a configuration file I am plainly missing. Thanks for helping. |
As to your second problem, you need to put:
Code:
. /etc/profile |
Thanks sycamorex.
Any ideas on my first problem though? |
