Since I'm using a UK keyboard and using the US keymap it messes a load of keys up I went to edit the xf86config file and changed XkbModel and XkbLayout to "pc105" and "uk" respectively but it doesn't seem to have made any difference, or at least none of the previously swapped keys are as they should be. I tried restarting x.

Running Slack 10 + xfce

Try 'gb' instead of 'uk'
