xdelta files and xpatch


I downloaded the following two files:

kdevelop-3.3.0.tar.bz2
kdevelop-3.3.0-rc1-3.3.0.tar.xdelta

Now i wonder how to apply the patch, to the .tar.bz2 file.

Install the xdelta program, then run it on the files. Also, since the xdelta file ends on .tar, you probably want to apply it to the tar file, not the tar.bz2 file.
