Xcreen Flat Panel Monitor

Has anyone had experience configuring flat panel monitors for Linux (i.e X)? I cant find a Horizontal and Vertical scan rate for this monitor anywhere...should there be one since its an LCD panel?

I will say, Windows has done something good in being able to support monitors without having to know all these particulars. They leave it to the video cards

Anyway... if anyone has experience with flat panel, LCD monitors I'd be interested how you answered the monitor questions during install.

Thanks,
Kork
