I know that many would tell me to ask this question in an appropriate place like the Xchat forum. Being a newbie (2-3 weeks) I can resolve simpler problems. The one I presently have is with Xchat's DCC send. I do not know whether this is an Xchat issue or something to do with triggering ports.
I am using xchat 2.4.3 on Linux 2.6.9-1.667 [i686/2.39GHz]. Fedora Core 3 Heidelburg.
I used Security Level to trigger some ports on xchat. But this too does not seem to work.
Problem is, I send a DCC and it gets timed out.
If this description is too short do tell me. I will try to fill you in the details as required
