X11 Disappeared & Login Shell Restarts!

Hello! Everything was going fine but suddenly I encounter a problem when I load linux in the morning.

1)My X11 is not working it goes to command line login shell after booting(I didn't changed the run level).

2)My OS didn't gave me enough time to type my user name.My moniter goes blank for a couple of seconds and when I saw my shell again it's clear I mean I have to again write the user name and it goes down just in 2 seconds again. It seems that the shell is restarting.

The suspecious point in booting OS is that the APM Deamon Failed to start.

Is it due to APM Deamon?
What is the function of APM Deamon?

I tried to go into runlevel 1 through the GRUB menu but I forget the GRUB password .

Now, how to put my mechine into previous working condition?

APM = advances power management (required to manage power consumption, mainly on laptops).

Forgetting your GRUB password is extremely inconvenient and I'm sure you've found out why by now. Perhaps reinstalling GRUB will help to clear the lock but I'm not sure about that.

What happens if you hit Ctrl + Alt + backspace when the blank screen appears? Do you get command line?
