Unhappy X Session not starting

I had redhat 7.3 running quite well using the Genome desktop. I decided to change the network card and am now regretting it. I am now only comming up to the text based login screen. Is it possible to start the genome desktop from here?

Thanks jax. After loading Genome, I was able to sort out the problem with the network card and now it is booting up normally & serving great.
