X-server crash KDE

Hi,

I just installed Mandrake 10.1 2.6.8.1-10mdksmp on my laptop (Dell inspiron 5150). My computer was working fine in matter of fact it worked all day and when I went to sleep and came back I want to do so small configuration to my linux laptop to make it better. When I went open the GUI again I got a error

(ww) NV(0): Failed to set up write-combining range (0xd0000000,0x2000000)

So i went and installed the new nvidia drivers and made the following changes to XF86Config and Xorg.conf

Load "glx" (without this the gui will return error about module not loaded)
Driver "nvidia"

now my GUI go as far as Nvidia splash screen and then it goes to black screen then it goes back to command line without reporting any errors. Then I checked /var/log/Xorg.0.log and it reports no errors. I don't know how to use the mail client in linux yet or neither have i set up samba yet so I can't put the log on another computer so i can post it here. can you guys help me out?

Thank you

If you want to post the log file, I'd use something like WinSCP (an open-source file transfer client for Windows). You only need to make sure that you have sshd (the SSH server) enabled on your Linux box. If you're going to be using another Linux box as the client, you can use the sftp command to transfer the file over.
