X Root Access

Hi. Ive been using FC5 for a while now and know my way around the terminal but for some things I need to access directories as root on X. How would I access a folder as root on Gnome?

Welcome to LQ!

Try opening a terminal, and run:
gksu nautilus
This should give you a prompt to enter your root password, and then open the nautilus file manager at /root.

I hope this helps
