X org keeps crashing after logging off

I've seen several threads that mention similar problems, but they haven't help fixed the problem. It's driving me nuts as I have to reboot the computer to switch user accounts, as Xorg crashes when logging off, and I have to hit power button on the desktop. I'm using ATI drivers with GDM.

Here is the output from lspci http://paste.pocoo.org/show/542226/
and the Linux Kernel config is http://paste.pocoo.org/show/542227/

Look in /var/log; there should be an Xorg log file you can inspect for information about the crash.

This is the most recent log file. http://paste.pocoo.org/show/543143/

Though I don't have a clue on what's causing Xorg to crash when logging off.

Never mind, I finally figured it out. I just had to manually configure the ATI modules by adding

modules="radeon"
module_radeon_args="modeset=1"

to /etc/conf.d/modules
