I recall now, as the user, that I deleted the .AVI file, but the trashcan would not allow me to empty it. I thought nothing more of it - until now!
I think matthewg42 was requesting the output from the original OP.

It's a second SCSI drive in the PC, that I think *is* actually full - as I have been ripping all my camcorder DV tapes to it, prior to archiving these on an external disk, prior to encoding them as MPEGs.
