Wrong ftp user


I found this strange problem for many times in my server .

I have two RH server , I use user id "test_user1" to login server1 (192.168.0.1) , then ftp to server2 (192.168.0.2) , but I found the below display - my default login id is changed to another user id "test_user2" , can advise what is wrong ? Thanks.

ftp 192.168.0.2
Connected to server2 (192.168.0.2).
220 (vsFTPd 1.2.1)
Name server2(192.168.0.2:test_user2):

ftp test_user1@192.168.0.2
If you connect to the ftp server without a username then the server will take a default value probably if it is configured to behave like that.

thx ,

what is the default value ? if I prefer to show user1 or simply do not show any user id rather than user2 , what can I do ?

this method is ok to fix it , but I am wonder why this problem only happens in a server , other server do not have this problem .
and if I use ftp user1@192.168.0.2 , I need to change some existing programs , is there another way to fix it ?

I tried ftp user1@192.168.0.2 , it really work .

But I checked , it is requirement to change some existing programs , can advise if I just want to fix it rather than do something to avoid the error , what can i do ?

You need to check/change the configuration for that server on that server. man ftp will give you the details.
