wrong dhcp assignment
 

hello guys...

i am using a SWE 3.0 and im having a problem with dynamic IP address.
my dhcp address ranges from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.200 but when i configure my computer using a DHCP ip add,, im getting an ip address that is not in the range of my supposed ip add..something like this
(192.168.4.103) instead of 192.168.1.103...

can anybody help me??

Have you got any other dhcp in your network that is assigning the address. There is nothing else I can think of.
May be it is not able to connect to the dhcp server and assigning itself a random ip but that something a remote possibility. MS does this though.
