Writing Cd's In Mandrake 9.2


Hi,
I've just switched to Mandrake 9.2 a few weeks ago.Can anyone tell me how to burn a cd in Linux?Can i also burn cd's in different formats such as vcd,svcd,etc.?

K3b is a great package for burning CD's =) it has a nice GUI.

That package uses other tools to get the work done. Such tools, like "cdburn", can be used directly from the command line .

VideoVDRip can make and burn SVCD's and VCD's.
