World of Warcraft ( Please Help )

Hello , I have just switched to Linux mint 14 and am currently a first time user of any Linux mint software . I was under the intention that installing software and other programs were simular on linux as to being on Windows. I am currently trying to install world of warcraft however nothing is installing on download and it's starting to get annoying . Is it even possible to play that game on Linux mint 14 ? If so , can someone instruct me on how to do it . I have tried youtubing it but everything just comes up as people showing themselves playing using the OS .

Also , are there different drivers that need to be installed to run the game or download it seperate from what was installed via the mint cd ?

Linux and Windows are not comaptible, neither drivers nor applications that are made for Windows will natively run on Linux. In order to use Windows software on Linux systems you can try to run the software using the Wine application layer, according to Wine's database WoW should run fine on Linux: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...ation&iId=1922
Information on how install Wine and WoW can be found here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WorldofWarcraft
Note that this article is meant for Ubuntu, but should be applicable to Mint.
