Wireless with Fedora 9

Hi I have just installed Fedora 9 with Gnome on my laptop. For some reason it shows me that my wireless is on yet everytime i go to add a network it tells me disconnected and sits there doing nothing. This is what i know about it
0c:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11a/b/g (rev 01)

Not sure if Fedora is even picking it up or not not sure if its already installed or not or need additional drivers. I have read a lot about it on the internet yet not sure what exactly is going on. Do I need Ndis wrapper to make this work or there is hope to make it work without even installing that. I am new to linux so not sure what to do. Please help Thank you

sorry about my previous post there...it was late :p...yeah your best bet would be to use ndiswrapper and install the driver that way, that's how i got my RaLink RT61 working properly.

i cant really be asked to find out anything right now, but i'd say you need to download the windoze driver and ndiwrapper and install the driver like that. please excuse me if a linux driver is available, as that would be the prefered option. if not, a windoze one is the best bet.

also try http://www.linuxwireless.org/

or google your device to see if it supported
