Wireless PCIe card for Linux Mint 18 & Ubuntu

I wish to ask which wireless 802.11ac PCIe card is/are compatible to Linux Mint 18 & Ubuntu 16.04.1?
My mobo is Asus P8H77-V.

Hello and welcome to the forum

If you don't mind the unusual setup, from what I see here, you can give this card a try. You might be able to replace the corded antenna with regular ones, I'm not sure.
