Wireless LAN

I have a wireless LAN in my household.

Its a Dell Truemobile transmitter that uses my broadband modem hooked up.

They way I recieve my internet on my computer is through a Truemobile USB connection, which when I got it, it had XP preinstalled and the drivers also installed.

I read a book in my library about the situation I had (which is mostly INTERNET connections in my RedHat 9, no internet) that there was some RPMs out there that can help, but few (was published around March, already outdated).

Does anyone know any links to help me out on finding some RPMs or installin guides? That would be awesome. Thanks so much (Ill try messing around, stil no luck with

#demsg (or is it dmsg? arh on the eth0 device)

oh well. any help appreciated.

As far as I know, there are no native drivers for a Broadcom chipset that really work very well. Finding a wrapper for the windows drivers supposedly works okay for your specific device.

There goes simplicity out the "window" ironically... lol.

I heard of the wrapper's that emulate the way the windoze kernel takes it in and makes the .dlls acceptable for the linux kernel.

Thanx, still open to any other wise masters that know more about this situation

Here is a couple of links I found, but have not had the time to investagate or try.
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/

ftp://ftp.linux-wlan.org/pub/linux-wlan-ng/

I have a U.S. Robotics wireless 22Mbps PCI card (2216) and can't get it to work with Red Hat 9. I also have, in my laptop a Belkin PCMCIA 11Mbps card, but it of course isn't working either. I hope these links help and if they do let us know what does!
Best Regards,
Brad
