Hi. I am a brand new NEWBIE
. I am trying desperately to leave Microsoft FAR behind. The only problem I have left to solve is setting up my wireless internet. I am at work (not on a network; we only share internet). I am messing around with PCLinuxOS from a live CD (which I will fully install once the wireless problem is solved). I am running Windows XP currently on my HD. We have AT&T DSL. Two computers upstairs are hard lined into the router and I am downstairs running a 2WIRE USB card to connect. Here is where it gets confusing: sometimes in the morning when I come in, Windows XP doesn't find my wireless card. I have to unplug it and replug it in a few times until it finds it, then it's all set.
