Welcome to LQ.
Backtrack 4 is mostly Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid. You can also use Google for answers, when you know which wireless chip / card, you are using : The command : lspci -vnn | grep -iA 1 net ... will show that. And please tell the result. ..... |
Ok, the command outputted the following:

I guess, you can find a network setup tool for wireless in the Menu. ..... |
Ok, wicd network manager is the only network setup tool i could find, and it still wont pick up any networks. Any ideas?
|
Well, I guess you will have to use Google
with the keywords : .. RaLink RT2860 ubuntu 8.10 .. ? .. RaLink Device 2790 ubuntu 8.10 .. ?? ..... |
