Wireless Connection

Attempting to connect Asus Eee PC Netbook to a D-Link DSL - 2650U wireless router. OK connecting to said router with cable, OK connecting wirelessly with Windows 7, but not OK wirelessly with Ubuntu. Apparently the driver is missing for wireless connection with Ubuntu. Following the instructions at the Ubuntu documentation site, I successfully installed the ndisgtk package in the systems area of Ubuntu, but I do not know how to locate the 'inf' file that is requested when I go to "install file" (the missing wireless driver.) Any ideas?

Please post the output of the commands
Code:
lsusb
and
Code:
lspci
This way we see which wireless adapter you are using and can give you better help.

ndiswrapper

And yes, I am trying to use this, not that I really understand it; only trying to follow directions....
