wireless adapter for Ubuntu 10.10

My wireless adapter keeps getting booted from the internet. I heard I might need Ndswrapper. Does anybody know how to use Ndswrapper?

Ndiswrapper is for using windows drivers under Linux. I used to use it with Slackware 10.0 and a Linksys PCMCIA card.

If your computer is seeing and connecting to the internet via the wireless, then dropping connection, it would appear that your drivers are working. I fear that ndiswrapper may not help, but it's worth a shot.

As I recall, the instructions in the ndiswrapper package were quite thorough.
