WinLinux boot up lil problem

hey all linux users i was having a problem getting my WinLinux to boot up properly i installed a lil and when i booted up from a floppy disk for first time it said enter login: & password:
i entered my login name:........... then when it got to password
it froze up like this....

login:?????????????
password: _
.....it froze on the password screen no bottons on my keyboard work no numbers, or letters so how do i enter the password?

Try reading the text and help files that came with WinLinux, I remember reading like that in one of them.

i got it to work! thankz guy but, umm i now i cant get my internet connection going it says no sorry, modem is busy everytime

You might have to configure the modem for Linux if it is supported. It could a "WinModem" and not yet supported.
You might goto http://tldp.org/cgi-bin/ldpsrch.cgi and search for " winmodem " if that is the case.
