WineX install / uninstall
 

Just installed Winex CVS, it gave me an error while compiling. Error 1 of some sort, so I figure I must need to uninstall my old install. I was unable to, it gave me the error "2". Anyway, I'd like to know how I could manually uninstall my old version of Wine and Winex.?

there should be an uninstall file in your winex folder. What command did u use to uninstall winex? For more information, read the Readme file in winex installation directory.. Locate the directory by doing this as root
updatedb
and then
locate winex
or locate winex3
or locate wine

I used make uninstall , as it specified. I'll try this out.

i ended up getting it working, the README is made by those who possess the power of not being able to understand any common thought process...oh well, i got it working... XD
