Wine uninstaller: unable to remove contents-regerding...


In my wine uninstaller window the some applications which i uninstalled and deleted from the drive continues to appear in the window showing they are there to get uninstalled. ... i hv uninstalled and deleted those not needed applications which i installed(.exe). . how to get those removed from uninstaller window? Any commands for that... (os- suse 10)

The only way I am aware of is by removing the relevant entries for each application from the WINE registry with "regedit".

If you navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall", you should see a directory for each installed application which contains the information regarding it's uninstaller. Removing the directory for a particular program will remove it from the list of installed programs; just make sure it is really uninstalled before you delete it from the list.

But i am unable to run nokia pc suite using wine. . iam able to install it and open it..But not able to procede further. Also tel what are the drivers to be installed to make it really function with wine
